When I try to open an application it prompts for a Launch.ica file - Citrix Receiver not installed

If, when you click on an application icon in your web browser, the application does not open but instead you are prompted to download a file called Launch.ica, most likely you do not have the appropriate Citrix client software installed.

For Windows users download and install the Receiver Client:
